The Emergence of College-Linked Retirement Communities: An International Perspective

Description
Worldwide demographic trends have led to international interest in college-linked residential settings among developers, planners, institutions of higher education and the media. This session will explore this growing interest in college-linked senior housing, compare and contrast existing and planned communities, and identify the benefits of college-linked retirement communities to older adults and the sponsoring college or university. It also will describe how this trend is developing in both the United States and Japan.
