主催者のNational Council on the Aging (NCOA) とAmerican Society on Aging (ASA)は、米国のエイジング分野における中心的団体。

この両者が年に一度開催するジョイント・コンフェランスには、
アメリカ人関係者のべ４千人が参加します。

Building Bridges on the Road Ahead: Sharing Lessons About Aging Between the United States and Japan

Wednesday, April 14 2:00 PM-4:00 PM Lecture/Mini-Workshop

This session will introduce three innovative initiatives designed to link professionals in aging in the United States with their counterparts in Japan to encourage mutual learning. Included are projects focused on eldercare issues and on technology education for older adults, and a 2005 ASA-sponsored study tour to Japan to explore that country responses to its rapidly aging population.
